Effective Date: 03/23/2023

As specified in our Terms of Use, each sport you wager on has specific rules or additional terms that apply to sports betting using the sportsbook(s) we make available on the Services. These House Rules for Betway Sportsbook (“Sportsbook House Rules”) are made part of and incorporated into the Terms of Use and acceptance of these Sportsbook House Rules is a pre-requisite to betting on sports using the Services. The Sportsbook House Rules apply in relation to the sports wagering offered and Bets placed on our websites (including, without limitation: https://us.betway.com/https://va.betway.com/ and other websites that link to these Sportsbook House Rules) (each, a “Website” and collectively, the “Websites”) and the mobile, tablet and any other Betway mobile apps (all of which together are referred to herein as the “Betting Apps”) (the Websites and Betting Apps and any services or functionality available in connection therewith are collectively referred to as the “Services”), which are operated and controlled by Digital Gaming Corporation USA, d/b/a Betway (referred to herein as “Betway”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), pursuant to the oversight, regulatory requirements, and licensing of the Virginia Lottery (“VA Lottery”). Additional rules posted on the Services regarding betting on the sports offered on the Services (“Specific Sports Rules”) apply and are incorporated herein by this reference. The Specific Sports Rules will change frequently for a number of reasons, including, without limitation, for commercial reasons, to comply with law or regulations, to comply with instructions, guidance or recommendations from a regulatory body, or for customer service reasons. Any such revision will be binding and effective from such date as is specified in the Specific Sports Rules. Your continued use of the Services will be deemed to be your acceptance of any changes we may make to the Specific Sports Rules. Please check the Specific Sports Rules frequently for updates. Capitalized terms used in these Sportsbook House Rules if not defined shall have their meaning as set forth in the Terms of Use.
Betway customers should make themselves aware of all of the Sportsbook House Rules affecting any sport in which they wish to place a Bet (as such term is defined in the Terms of Use). Betway reserves the right to amend the Sportsbook House Rules at any time subject to the regulatory approval of the VA Lottery. Any such revision will be binding and effective immediately on the posting out to customers of such rule changes and any Bets accepted after the rule changes have been posted shall be governed by the new Sportsbook House Rules.

1. Placing Bets

1.1. Customers can only Bet up to the amount held within their Account or the limit as set out on the Services or in these Sportsbook House Rules, whichever is the lesser. The minimum and maximum bet per selection is determined exclusively by Betway and is detailed on screen.
1.2. Betway reserves the right to accept or decline the whole or part of any proposed Bet. Subject to applicable regulatory approvals (if required), Betway reserves the right to refuse/cancel any Bet or part of a Bet before the game starts and to void ambiguous bets without the need to provide justification.
1.3. Each Bet will be given an individual number as confirmation of the Bet. Bets will be valid (subject to meeting the criteria for placing a Bet laid down in the Terms of Use) if accepted by the Betway Sportsbook Bet server, whether or not the customer receives the Bet code. We are not liable for the settlement of any Bets where we have not issued a written confirmation of acceptance of the Bet or where we are unable to display that Bet in the 'My Account' pages of the Services. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all of the details of their Bets are correct. Once a Bet has been confirmed by Betway, that Bet cannot be cancelled or changed by the customer. If you have any concern as to whether your Bet has been accepted, please log in and go to the 'My Account' pages of the Services where details of all Bets entered into by you will be displayed. If Bets are not included in that list, Bets not included are not valid or were not accepted.
1.4. Individuals who are Prohibited Betway Participants in accordance with Section 4.5 of the Terms of Use  are restricted from wagering as noted therein.
1.5. You must exercise your own judgment in placing a Bet and you hereby confirm that you have not relied on the advice of any Betway employee relating to any Bet.
1.6. You agree to pay us for all Bets that are placed with us using your Account. You agree to fund your Account prior to placing any Bets on the Services. You remain responsible for all Bets that are placed with us using your Account.
1.7. Bets must be made via the Websites or via the Betting Apps. We only accept Bets made through the Services. Bets are not accepted in any other form (email, telephone, fax, etc.) and if received will be void, win or lose. Bets will be accepted up to the advertised start time. If a Bet is inadvertently accepted which includes an event after its start time, unless it is a live-betting event, the match/bet will be treated as a non-runner.
1.8. Please familiarize yourself with betting and gaming terminology and how the various Bets and games are operated. If you have any queries relating to the foregoing, please contact us. Betway cannot accept any responsibility if you place a Bet in circumstances where you do not fully understand any of the terms involved or how the Bet or game is operated.
1.9. On occasion the prices available across the various Services may not be the same - for example, a price on a Website may not be the same as those prices available on other Services. Betway accepts no responsibility or liability for the fact that a customer could have obtained a different price through some other medium.
1.10. Guaranteed prices and other special offers and/or promotions are available at the discretion of Betway and can be restricted on an individual Account basis at any time.
1.11. All lines and odds offered are subject to variation. Such fluctuation is determined by Betway in its sole discretion. Bets are accepted only at the odds available on the Services at the time the Bet offer is accepted by Betway, without regard to any other claim or previous publication present on the Services or any other media detailing otherwise. The Services display real-time lines, current odds, and potential payouts when placing wagers. Odds and line change notifications may occur at any time during the Bet placement process; the default settings on the Services will not accept new odds or line changes if they occur during the Bet placement process. If a line changes during the Bet placement process, you will be notified of the new line with a confirmation message that will require you to affirmatively accept the Bet being placed at the new line. In the default setting available on the Services, should any odds changes occur, you will be notified of the new odds with a confirmation message that will require you to affirmatively accept the Bet being placed at the new odds. This default setting for odds change notifications can be adjusted by you to either: (i) automatically accept (i.e., without your affirmative acceptance) all changes to the odds (regardless of whether such changes are favorable or unfavorable to you) for fastest play, with no confirmation message provided of odds changes before a Bet is placed; or (ii) require you to affirmatively accept only less favorable odds (i.e., where the odds change results in a less favorable potential payout), where the Services will automatically accept more favorable odds (i.e., where the odds change results in a more favorable potential payout) without requiring confirmation from you but will still require you to affirmatively accept any less favorable odds.
1.12 Betway is not responsible for any taxes that may be payable by you whether on any Bets, on any winnings or otherwise.
1.13. With the exception of "In Play Betting" events (see Section 2 below for In Play Betting rules), Bets are accepted up to the off-time of the event or a pre-determined time, whichever is earlier. However, Betway may allow a grace period for some sporting events during which Bets will be accepted but we reserve the right to void (subject to any applicable required regulatory approval) any or all Bets should we think there has been a significant development in the event prior to placement or purported placement. Betway reserves the right to void (subject to any applicable required regulatory approval) any Bet if accepted in error after the betting has closed or where the event was resolved or at a stage where the customer could have an indication of the outcome. In such circumstances, we will normally return your stake.
1.14. Betway reserves the right to void (subject to any applicable required regulatory approval) any or all Bets made by, any group of people acting in conjunction with each other, or any individual acting alone, in an attempt to defraud Betway.
1.15. Not all participants are quoted in every event. However, a price is available for almost all entries or outcomes in any event. If you wish to Bet on an unnamed selection, please contact one of our Customer Support agents and we will endeavor to add this selection to the Services.
1.16. Betway may, at its sole discretion and without any requirement to give reasons, exclude any customer from the Services generally or from receiving selected promotions (e.g., guaranteed best price; bonuses; Bonus Bets; enhanced prices; and money-back specials) and any other promotions and offers introduced by us from time to time.
1.17. In the event of there being a dispute over the time at which a Bet was placed or whether a Bet has been placed, then the time at which it was recorded (if recorded) on the transactional log will govern settlement. If an attempted Bet was not recorded on the transactional log, no Bet shall be deemed to have been placed. You should check your Account balance each time you visit the Services.
1.18. It is a condition of our acceptance of Bets from you, and by offering to place a Bet with us you represent and warrant, that:
1.18.1. you are not prohibited from entering into the Bet by any term of your contract of employment, these Terms or any rule of a sport governing body or other professional body of which you are a member, which applies to you;
1.18.2. where the Bet is placed on the outcome of a race, competition or other event or process or on the likelihood of anything occurring or not occurring ("the event"), you do not know the outcome of the event; and
1.18.3. you are not misusing Inside Information (as defined below) to place a Bet.
1.19. In the event of any representation made by you in Section 1.17 proving to be false, Betway reserves the right to void (subject to any applicable required regulatory approval) Bets, suspend your Account, and we shall not be obliged to pay any winnings which might otherwise have been payable in respect of the Bet.
1.20. In the event of a warning being received by Betway in relation to suspicious or irregular betting patterns and possible instances of event manipulation Betway reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to:
1.20.1. suspend its offering on any event or series of events in any of its Services; and
1.20.2. delay and/or withhold payment on any event or series of events until the integrity of such event or series of events has been confirmed:
i. by the relevant sports federation or governing body (where applicable); or
ii. by Betway using its reasonable discretion.
1.21. Further, in the case of active event manipulation being confirmed as having taken place on any event or series of events (by the appropriate sports governing bodies or by any other means), Betway reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to suspend any Bets placed on such events, either by any individual identified as having misused Inside Information or by any other individual who in the reasonable opinion of Betway is connected to, acting in conjunction with, or in any way involved with such individual or the event manipulation.
1.22. Betway reserves the right to refuse or limit any Bets or bonuses (for example by setting minimum and maximum amounts which will be set out below or on our Services, or by setting wagering requirements), or change such limits, at our sole discretion for any reason whatsoever without any obligation to provide you with notice. Your maximum amount for a Bet may differ between sports and leagues. You will see the exact value specified in the field where you enter the stake amount, when placing a Bet. We make no guarantee that any Bet placed within or for the maximum stake shall be accepted. Individual Bet requests may be reviewed, and an alternative price or stake offered at our sole discretion.
1.23. "Inside Information" means any information which has not been made public and, if it were made public, would be likely to have a material effect on the relevant outcome relating to the event.
1.24. Irrespective of which betting odds format you select for odds to be shown in your Account, all Bets will be settled based on American odds.
1.25. Where we have reason to believe that a Bet is placed after the outcome of an event is known or after the selected participant or team has gained a material advantage (e.g., a score, sending off etc.) we reserve the right to void the Bet, win or lose (subject to any applicable required regulatory approval).
1.26. Betway reserves the right to withhold payment and to declare Bets on an event void if we have evidence that the following has occurred: (i) the integrity of the event has been called into question or (ii) match-rigging has taken place. Evidence may be based on the size, volumes or pattern of bets placed with Betway across any or all of our betting channels.

2. In Play Betting, Cash Out and Add to Bet

2.1. In Play Betting means betting that takes place while an event is in progress. In addition to the rest of these Sportsbook House Rules, the following rules apply to In Play Betting:

2.1.1. we reserve the right to void (subject to any applicable required regulatory approval) any part of any, or all, Bets on any In Play Betting event that is not completed (i.e., abandoned, postponed, etc.);
2.1.2. where an Obvious Error (defined below) is made in offers made, prices offered or Bets accepted or otherwise in connection with the transmission of any event on which we have purported to offer In Play Betting, such Obvious Error will be addressed in accordance with Section 12 below; or
2.1.3. where we have reasonable grounds to believe that a Bet is placed after the outcome of an event is known, we reserve the right to void the Bet (subject to any applicable required regulatory approval).
2.2. Please note that in the case of In Play Betting, you may not at any time be able to see or otherwise be provided with the most up-to-date information in relation to the relevant event, including for example (but without limitation), through delayed coverage, a slow connection or equipment, or other system flaws, faults, errors or service interruption. When checking live betting odds, live event start times or any other live event markets, please be aware that such information is provided as a guide only and we accept no liability for the outcome of any inaccuracies which may occur. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to check such information is accurate at the time of publication. Betway shall not be liable for any delay in relaying up-to-date information.
2.3. In addition to the rest of these terms relating to In Play Betting (which apply equally to our cash out functionality), the rules relating to the Cash Out feature are further described below). Please note in particular that for a variety of reasons (including for example technical issues, human error, suspicions of fraud or other improprieties and/or other issues outside of our control), Betway cannot guarantee the availability at all times of the Cash Out functionality, even where the functionality has been advertised in connection with a particular event. Please be aware and accept, therefore, that unless Cash Out is available and successfully exercised in connection with a particular Bet, your initial Bet will, unless otherwise provided in accordance with these Terms, stand as originally placed.
2.4.Cash Out. Cash Out is a real-time Bet settlement feature. Cash Out is valid on single, parlay and round robin Bets. Cash Out is valid on both pre-game and in-play Bets. Betway does not guarantee the availability of the Cash Out functionality at all times, even where the functionality has been advertised in connection with a particular event. Betway will not be held responsible if the Cash Out functionality is not available due to technical issue. In such circumstances, any Bets placed will stand regardless of the availability of the Cash Out feature. Pressing the Cash Out button and confirming against an eligible unsettled Bet will immediately process the settlement of your Bet at the Cash Out amount displayed. Note: once the Cash Out is agreed, the Cash Out cannot be reversed. Once processed, details of the Cash Out will be made available in your Bet History. Betway reserves the right to decline the Cash Out settlement in the following circumstances:
2.4.1. If the Cash Out amount has been incorrectly displayed; or 2.4.2.If Betway has reason to believe that the Cash Out has been carried out after the outcome of the relevant event was known.

  • If your Cash Out request is successful, a 'success' message will be displayed and your Bet (or the relevant portion of your Bet) will be settled immediately and any winnings returned to your account equal to the amount displayed on the Cash Out button. Note that this includes the original stake (or portion of your stake) and the total amount returned to your account will be the amount displayed on the Cash Out button. For a full Cash Out, the Bet is settled and any subsequent events will have no impact on the amount returned to your account. For a partial Cash Out (defined below), part of your Bet is settled and any subsequent events will only impact on the portion of your Bet which you have not cashed out.
  • If your Cash Out request is unsuccessful, a message will be displayed which provides the reason why and a new Cash Out offer may be offered to you.
  • Cash Out is not currently available on all Betway markets - a Cash Out icon will be displayed for the markets that support Cash Out. See the Help page for more details on when Cash Out may not be available. Betway will not be liable for any losses that may arise from the Cash Out feature being unavailable for any reason.
  • Using Cash Out may mean you will opt out of and no longer be eligible for a particular promotion. See the terms and conditions of the promotion for further details.
  • Betway reserves the right to reverse the settlement of a Cash Out if the Bet or a market is settled in error (for example, a human or technical error). If Betway resettles a Bet, this may lead to amendments being made to your balance to reflect changes in Bet settlement. If an incorrect Cash Out offer is presented to you and then accepted due to a technical fault, Betway reserves the right to resettle the Bet using the correct Cash Out offer.
  • Betway reserves the right to suspend or disable the Cash Out feature at any time.

2.5. Partial Cash Out. Partial Cash Out allows you to take a proportion of your Cash Out offering while leaving the remainder of your stake to be settled on the final result. The Partial Cash Out feature is subject to the same terms as normal Cash Out.
2.6. Add to Bet Functionality. Add to Bet functionality is available only on unsettled single Bets and/or parlay Bets (excluding system Bets) in respect of which Cash Out is available, and where at least one (1) of the selections has not been settled. Add to Bet is available only if the Cash Out value of the eligible open Bet is equal to or greater than the minimum stake amount of the new parlay Bet which would be created by adding the new selection via Add to Bet. When you select the Add to Bet feature, the selected eligible open Bet immediately becomes the subject of a Cash Out and the newly created parlay Bet, which is comprised of the Bet picks found in the eligible open bet plus the additional Bet pick/s chosen using the Add to Bet feature, is placed. The wager of the modified Bet shall be equal to the Cash Out value of the eligible open Bet. The modified Bet shall be placed at the odds at the time of use of the Add to Bet feature. If one (1) or more picks of the eligible open Bet have already been settled, such settled selections shall not be included in the modified Bet.

3. Gaming with Other Customers

3.1. Betway does not offer peer to peer games on the Services in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

4. Wager Type Calculations

  • Each wager can be placed at provided odds that are made available by Betway on the Services.
  • Odds are typically expressed in one (1) of three (3) ways. The American format is the default, but you can adjust the format in your settings.
    • American. Can be expressed as a positive or a negative.
      • For positive: the odds represent the amount you would win for every $100 wagered. For example, odds of +150 would generate $150 in winnings for every $100 Bet, resulting in a total payout of $250.
      • For negative: the odds represent the amount you would need to wager to win $100. For example, odds of -120 would require you to wager $120 to win $100, resulting in a total payout of $220.
    • Decimal. Always expressed as a positive.
      • The odds, when multiplied by your wager, represent the total payout.
      • For example, odds of 1.5 would mean that a wager of $100 would result in a total payout of $150 (return of the $100 stake plus $50 in winnings).
    • Fractional
      • The odds, multiplied by your wager amount, represent the potential winnings.
      • For example, odds of 2/1 on a $100 wager would represent a potential winnings of $200, for a total payout of $300 on a winning wager.
      • For example, odds of 1/2 on a $100 wager would represent a potential profit of $50, for a total payout of $150 on a winning wager.
  • There are many different types of wagers. The most common types are outlined below. Further details on other types of wagers can be accessed on our FAQ page and Specific Sports Rules.
  • Moneyline wager - a wager on the winner of an event, including. overtime. For example, you can wager $100 on Team A to win the game. If Team A wins in regular or overtime, your Bet is a winner.
  • Spread (also known as a handicap Bet) – you can wager on the point difference in the final result. The spread line is set according to the bookmaker’s expectation of the point difference in the final result. For instance, in a matchup of Team A vs. Team B, a spread line of +4 on Team A indicates that the bookmaker expects Team A to lose by approximately 4 points. There are different spreads available for wagering. For example, if you wager on Team A with a +4 spread, your Bet will be a winner if Team A wins the game or loses by less than 4 points. If Team A loses by 4 points exactly, your stake will be returned to you. In the above example, if you wager on Team B, your Bet will be a winner if Team B wins the game by more than 4 points. If Team B wins by 4 points exactly, your stake will be returned to you.
  • Total (also known as unders or overs) - a wager on the total points scored in the game. The bookmaker will set the total line according to its expectations. For example, a matchup of Team A vs. Team B with a total line of 150 points means that the bookmaker expects there to be approximately 150 points total scored in the game. If you wager on overs, the total number of points has to exceed 150 for you to win. If you wager on unders, the total number of points has to be lower than 150 for you to win. If the total number of points is 150 exactly, your stake will be returned to you.
  • Proposition Bets - wager placed on whether a certain event occurs, regardless of the outcome of the game. For example, you can wager on a player to score the first touchdown in a game. For your Bet to be a winner, that individual has to score the first touchdown, even if the team that player plays for subsequently loses the game.
  • Parlay - a combination of multiple selections (or legs) into a single wager. For example, in a four leg parlay on basketball, you can wager on the outcome of four different matchups. You would win only if all legs of the parlay are winners. The odds are calculated by multiplying the decimal odds (as explained above) of each selection. You cannot add selections that are related in a single parlay. For example, if one of the matchups in the parlay is Team A vs. Team B, you can only wager on one of those teams to win in that parlay.

5. Results and Settlement

5.1 General

  • Where the Specific Sports Rules do not specify how and on what basis a sports wager will be settled, the wager will be settled on the official result of the relevant governing body regardless of any subsequent disqualification or amendment to the result (except if an amendment is announced within twenty-four (24) hours of the initial settlement of the relevant sport event in order to correct an error in reporting the result). For settlement purposes, the official result is final unless the Specific Sports Rules state otherwise. Medal ceremonies, Grand Prix podium positions and any other official ceremony or presentation used in other sports will be treated as the official result.
  • If no official result of a relevant governing body is available, the result will be determined by Betway (acting reasonably) using information from independent sources. In such cases, if any new information comes into the public domain within forty-eight (48) hours of settlement, Betway shall (acting reasonably) determine::
    • 5.1.1 Whether the wager should be reinstated or resettled in light of this new information; OR
    • 5.1.2 Whether to await further information before deciding if the wager should be reinstated or resettled. Except where Betway has announced that it is waiting for further information, any information that comes into the public domain more than forty-eight (48) hours after a wager has been settled shall not be considered by Betway (regardless of whether or not such information may have led to a different result).
  • In the event of any uncertainty about any result or potential result, Betway reserves the right to suspend settlement of any event for an unlimited period until the uncertainty can be resolved to the reasonable satisfaction of Betway. Betway reserves the right to void any Bet (subject to applicable regulatory approval) if the uncertainty regarding settlement cannot be resolved to Betway’s reasonable satisfaction.
  • Winnings will be credited to a customer's Account following confirmation of the final result as outlined above.
  • In the event of a withdrawal of a selection after the start of an event due to such selection testing positive for a virus or other disease, all wagers on that selection shall be void.
  • All-In Betting - All-In means that regardless of whether or not a particular competitor or team or member of a team starts or completes the event on which a Bet is placed, all Bets stand and no refunds will be payable. You will be notified if a market is All-In via blurbs, market title and/or selection name.
  • Weekly/Daily specials: All relevant games must be played to a natural completion for wagers to stand. In the event one (1) or more game(s) are postponed and/or have a venue change, all wagers will be refunded.

5.2 Resettlements

  • Wagers are generally settled shortly after the end of the event in question. Betway may settle (or part-settle) some wagers before the official result is declared purely as a customer service benefit. However, Betway reserves the right to amend the settlement of the wager if:

5.2.1 The official result is different to the result on which Betway initially settled the wager; or
5.2.2 If the whole wager is eventually voided (e.g., for an abandoned event) (subject to applicable regulatory approvals).

  • Betway reserves the right to reverse the settlement of a wager if a wager is settled in error (for example, a human or technical error).
  • If Betway resettles a wager, this may lead to amendments being made to a customer's balance and/or the deduction of funds from a customer's Account to reflect changes in settlement.
  • Betway will settle wagers on the basis that it obtains the relevant information once the outcome has been determined. If this information is not obtained, or if there is a clear error in the information, the settlement of the Bet offer will be based on other publicly available information/ official sources at the reasonable discretion of Betway.
  • Betway may be required by law to seek approval with the relevant regulatory body before making any amendments to a price or Bet status.

6. Unexpected Events and Other Changes

To the extent there is any inconsistency between the rules contained in Section 5 and the Specific Sports Rules applying to a specific event, the following general rules will prevail:

  • If an event or events occur beyond the reasonable control of Betway such as an epidemic, pandemic, flood, fire, earthquake, element of nature or act of god, act of war, terrorism, riot, rebellion, strike, blockade, labor disruption or other cause, that materially impact(s) any sporting or other event (or a series of events in a season), which is the subject of a contingency or outcome of an event offered by Betway, Betway may, acting in good faith, exercise its discretion to void, cancel, restrict or otherwise alter or adjust the payout (in whole or in part) of the affected wager(s) placed on the relevant event (including, without limitation, retrospectively taking any of the actions contemplated once a Bet has been placed and before or after it has been resolved). For the avoidance of doubt, “impact” on any sporting or other event includes, without limitation:
  • Any reduction in the number of games or matches in a season;
  • Any material change in the length of a game or match or when the matches are played;
  • A material change to the format or rules of the relevant event(s), series or competitions as determined by the relevant sports body; or
  • A change in the location of any match, game or event.

7. Futures Settlement

  • Some events have different rules and these are listed in the Specific Sports Rules. However, where an event has no rules listed in the Specific Sports Rules in relation to how and on what basis a futures market will be settled the following shall apply:
  • Where a season or tournament is unexpectedly shortened all futures markets/Bets will be settled in accordance with the official ruling of the relevant governing body after the postponement, so long as the ruling is made within ninety (90) days after the scheduled completion date:
    • unless the outcome has unequivocally been determined prior to the interruption of the season - example Team A were prior to the postponement unable to win more than x regular season games, Bets on over x games will be settled as a loser and Bets on under x wins settled as winners;
    • where the competition format has materially changed after the postponement and any outcome that was possible prior to the postponement is no longer made possible due to the format change - example Team B were mathematically able to make playoffs prior to the postponement however a new playoff format announced after the postponement prevented any opportunity to make playoffs, all Bets on Team B to make and miss playoffs will be void; and
    • where a league/governing body officially suspends a season and rules for recording purposes that all stats are final on the shortened season, futures will be settled in accordance with the official ruling. If deemed completed by the relevant governing body, winners will be settled as so, and remaining selections void unless the outcome has unequivocally been determined prior to the suspension of the season or stated by the relevant governing body.
  • Bets on events that do not reach completion before the interruption but have already been unconditionally determined will be settled as such. For example, if Team A is mathematically eliminated from playoffs prior to the interruption then Bets on Team A to miss the playoffs are winners whereas Bets on Team A to make the playoffs or win the championship are losers.
  • If the ruling governing body announces within ninety (90) days of the original scheduled completion date, the rescheduling of a tournament or competition all Bets on the original competition will remain active. At the customer's request, Betway will void (subject to applicable regulatory approvals) Bets made on the originally scheduled tournament or competition but only before the start of the rescheduled competition. In the event that no official ruling is made postponing the competition or tournament within ninety (90) days of the original scheduled completion date all Bets will be void.

8. Abandonments, Cancellations and Postponements

  • Some sports have different rules and these are listed in the Specific Sports Rules. However, where a sport has no rules listed in the Specific Sports Rules in relation to an abandonment, cancellation and/or postponement the following shall apply.
  • In relation to any match, fixture, game, individual event, race or similar: If the event is not completed within forty-eight (48) hours after the scheduled completion date, then all Bets for this event will be void, except for Bets on any events that have been unconditionally determined.
  • In relation to any tournament, competition or similar: If the event is not completed within twenty-four (24) hours following the scheduled completion date of the event, then any wagers relating to the event will be settled in accordance with the official ruling of the relevant governing body, providing such a decision is given within ninety (90) days after the scheduled completion date. If no official ruling is announced in this ninety (90)-day period, then Bets on this event will be void, except for Bets which have been unconditionally determined. If a wager is to be voided (subject to applicable regulatory approvals) but has been part-settled as a courtesy to Betway customers, then such part-settled Bets will be reversed and all Bets will be void.
  • If there is no further sporting action that does not contain the selection 'draw' or 'tie', all Bets placed after this conclusion of action will be voided (e.g., If the game ends in a draw and the two selections that are named are "Team A" and "Team B" without a "Draw" or "Tie" selection - the Bet on either Team A or B will be Voided).
  • Betway will decide (acting reasonably) whether an event relates to a match (or similar) or a tournament (or similar). However, by way of example, the following shall apply:

       Major League Soccer Cup = tournament;
       NFL AFC West = tournament;
       Ryder Cup outright = tournament;
       Golf tournament outright = tournament;
       Tennis Tournament outright = tournament;
       Motor Race (e.g. Indianapolis 500) = match;
       NBA Finals = match; and
       NBA Championship = tournament.

9. Change of Venue

  • Some events have different rules and these are listed in the Specific Sports Rules. However, if change of venue is not specified within the Specific Sports Rules then the following shall apply:
    • For any team sport: if the scheduled venue is changed after a Bet is placed, all Bets will be void only if the new venue is a home ground of the original away team (or in the case of international matches, only if the venue changes to a venue in a different country).
    • For all categories other than team sports: if the scheduled venue is changed after a Bet is placed, all Bets will stand.
    • If there is a change in the type of scheduled surface (e.g., a hockey match switching from grass to astroturf) after a Bet is placed, all Bets will stand.

10. Periods of Time

  • Some events have different rules and these are listed in the Specific Sports Rules. However, if not specified within the Specific Sports Rules then the following shall apply.
  • If the scheduled duration of an event is changed after a Bet is placed but before the start of the event, then all Bets will be void (subject to applicable regulatory approvals).
  • Some wagers refer to the length of time until an occurrence in the event (e.g., time of first goal). If an event happens in stoppage or injury time after any regular time period then it will be deemed to have occurred at the end of the regular time period.
  • All Bets apply to the relevant full 'regular time' period including stoppage time. Any extra-time and/or penalty shoot-out is not included.
  • References within these Sportsbook House Rules to a particular number of 'days' shall mean the end of the day local time after the expiry of the specified number of days.

11. Dead Heats

  • Unless stated otherwise in the Specific Sports Rules the Dead Heat Rule applies to Bets on a sport where there are more winners than expected.
  • If a "dead-heat" between two selections is declared on any event, half the stake is applied to the selection at full odds and the other half is lost. If more than two "dead-heats" are declared, the stake is proportioned accordingly.
  • If not otherwise stated as a push settlement, in the event of a tie, where no 'draw' option was offered by Betway on such outcome, wagers will be paid at face value (total payout figure including the initial stake) divided by the number of competitors tied for that placing. The stake is proportioned according to the number of competitors tied for that placing.

12. Errors

  • If, as a result of technical or system problems, human or other error, a Bet is accepted that is at odds (which includes handicap provisions or similar), pricing and/or is on other terms that are either: (i) materially different from those available in the general betting market at the time the Bet was made; or (ii) clearly incorrect given the chance of the event occurring at the time the Bet was made, including, in either case, because the Bet was placed after the start of an event, because the market was not displaying or reflecting in-play status, or because of any other reason (collectively, “Obvious Error”), then we reserve the right to void or cancel any Bet placed where such Obvious Error has occurred. Examples of Obvious Errors may include, but are not limited to, the following:
    • Inversion of odds and/or lines (e.g., odds or lines for Team A being incorrectly applied to Team B or vice versa)
    • Mistyping or application of incorrect odds, including but not limited to, applying + or - incorrectly to the outcome (e.g., +200 instead of -200) or applying a decimal point in the wrong place (e.g., 11 instead of 1.1)
    • Technical error causing key information to not be registered and rendering odds incorrect (e.g., a touchdown not being recognized)
  • If Betway accepts a Bet for which the outcome has already been determined, then that Bet shall be deemed void (and no winnings shall be payable in respect of it).

13. Maximum Winnings

  • For all events listed below, the maximum payout limits apply on a per day basis. If you place a Bet that exceeds the applicable limits for a particular event, the relevant maximum payouts will still apply.
  • The maximum payout limits refer to the total returns on your Bets, excluding your original stake.
  • The maximum payout limits apply to any one customer or group of customers acting together, backing the same combination of selections, regardless of whether or not such Bets are struck separately, at a range of different prices, on different days and through a number of different accounts. If Betway believes that a number of Bets have been placed in this way, the total payment of all those Bets combined will be limited to one single maximum payout.
  • The maximum payouts shown below are shown in U.S. Dollars. If Bets are placed in another currency, the maximum payout will be converted using the applicable exchange rate on the day of settlement of the Bets.
  • The above maximum payout limits will apply to the events shown (please note, if a multiple/parlay Bet has been placed which involves events with different maximum payout limits, the lowest applicable maximum payout limit will apply to the whole of your parlay Bet - for example, if you place a parlay Bet on NFL and on a Tennis match, your winnings will be capped at $200,000 and not $500,000).
  • For games in which we offer same game parlay, the maximum payout will be equal to the overall maximum payout of the event involved.

Overall Maximum Daily Payout Limit: Subject to any lower limits that may apply in respect of any particular event (as set out above), the overall maximum daily payout limit to any customer for all winning Bets placed on Betway products combined is $500,000. If you place winning Bets on those products that exceed this daily limit, your winnings will be reduced to $500,000 and the remainder of your winnings in excess of $500,000 will be forfeited by you.

14. Parlays

  • A parlay Bet consists of a number of legs. A leg is defined as one or more chosen selections in any individual event.
  • Betway reserves the right in its sole discretion not to accept certain parlay Bets or to scale back stakes.
  • All parlay Bets placed are subject to the Sportsbook House Rules that apply to each individual sport that relates to any leg of any parlay Bet.
  • If any selection in any leg is a non-runner or otherwise void under the Sportsbook House Rules (e.g., an abandoned match) then all Bets on that individual leg will be void and the parlay Bet shall be adjusted accordingly. For example, a three-leg parlay including one void leg will become a double. If that voided leg means that an individual Bet within a parlay becomes a single Bet, then this single Bet will stand.
  • Parlay Bets combining different selections within the same event are not accepted when there are related contingencies (i.e., where the outcome of one event is likely to affect the odds on the outcome of another event). The rejection of related contingency Bets may happen automatically at the Bet placement stage. However, if such a Bet is taken in error, Betway may settle the individual Bet combinations which include two or more of the related contingency selections, as single Bets.
  • Parlay Bets that combine different selections within the same event are not accepted where the outcome of one affects or is affected by the other. If such a Bet is taken in error, the Bet will be cancelled.
  • Same game parlay: You can build your own unique bets using Betway's Same game parlay feature. Same game parlay Bets are considered to be those that have been placed through the same game parlay feature and due to being interrelated could not have been placed as a standard Bet type. Same game parlay Bets are subject to the following conditions:
    • Same game parlay Bets cannot be included in Banker, If Bet, Reverse If Bet or Teaser Bets.
    • A maximum of six (6) markets from a single match can be included in a same game parlay Bet.
    • If a market within a same game parlay Bet is void/pushed, then the entire same game parlay Bet will be void/pushed (e.g., if your goal scorer selection does not play the entire Bet will be void regardless of the outcome of the other selections).
    • Betway will not be responsible if the same game parlay feature is not available for technical reasons.
    • Betway reserves the right to reverse the settlement of a same game parlay Bet if the Bet or a selection within the Bet is settled in error.
    • Betway reserves the right to accept or decline any Bet requested for any competition or market or Bet type that is included in the same game parlay feature.
    • Betway reserves the right to amend, suspend or remove the same game parlay feature (or any part of it) at any time for any event, fixture, market or patron.
    • Betway reserves the right to remove the same game parlay feature for any patron or group of patrons where it has reasonable grounds to believe that the patron or group of patrons is misusing the feature.
    • The same game parlay feature is only available on select sports that are available on the Services where the Same Game Parlay feature toggle is specifically made available for use in connection with an event or wager.

15. Odds Boosts

  • Any Bets for which we offer Odds Boosts, including, without limitation, Odds Boosts on parlay bets, will be settled on the basis of normal time and injury time (i.e., excluding any extra time, penalties or similar) unless otherwise specified in the relevant Bet or Bet rules.
  • Unless otherwise stated, Bets for which Odds Boosts are offered will be governed by Betway's usual settlement rules.
  • We reserve the right to void any Bet with an Odds Boosts if: (i) the enhanced price was intended to apply to pre-match Bets only and (ii) we erroneously accepted the Bet, at its enhanced price, after the relevant event started.
  • We reserve the right to withdraw any Odds Boosts and edit the respective odds on the enhanced price.
  • Unless stated in the Odds Boost, the Bets refer to the next official event that the listed team/participant(s) are scheduled to participate in.
  • Markets can tend to fluctuate in price quite often which can sometimes lead to the Odds Boost price not representing any enhanced value in comparison to its original markets.

16. Miscellaneous

  • Betway reserves the right in its sole discretion not to accept certain Bets, or to scale back the stakes (on a per user or aggregate basis).
  • All references to time periods in the Sportsbook House Rules relate to the time zone in which the event takes place. For example, a reference to the start time of a football game, relates to the local kick-off time.
  • All information supplied by Betway is done so in good faith. However, Betway cannot accept liability for any errors or omissions in respect of any information, such as the posting of prices, runners, times, scores, results or general statistics.
  • Any results or scores of which you may be advised by a Betway employee or agent (for example during betting in-play) are provided for guidance purposes only.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring that they satisfy themselves that the selection on which they place a Bet is their intended selection. For example, in the case of a competitor bearing the same name as another individual not competing in the relevant event, the onus is on the customer to ensure that they know which competitor is being referred to in the relevant market and to ensure that they are placing their Bet on their chosen competitor.
  • Please be aware that if you place related or corresponding Bets on a combination of Betway's platforms (and/ or the betting products of other third parties), it is possible for Bets on one product to be voided (subject to applicable regulatory approval) in accordance with Betway's terms and conditions, while Bets on another product may stand. You should note that Betway will have no liability to you in the event that one or more of your Bets on Betway's products are amended or voided in accordance with Betway's terms and conditions, even if your other related Bets stand (and even if you have specifically relied on Bets you have placed on one product in order to place related Bets on another product).
  • Betway may, in its sole and absolute discretion, decide to suspend betting at any time (even if such suspension is earlier than anticipated by the Sportsbook House Rules). In the interests of maintaining integrity and fairness, Betway may also void certain bets on an event or void a whole event in its entirety (subject to applicable regulatory approvals).
  • Betway promotions are available at the discretion of Betway and Betway reserves the right to restrict the availability of a promotion to any person at its absolute discretion.
  • Wagers are subject to anti-money laundering standards, investigations, and reports, including triggers and requirements for filing of currency transaction reports and suspicious activity reports.
  • Structuring of bets to avoid federal currency transaction reporting thresholds is strictly prohibited.

18. Fraud and Collusion

18.1. Betway reserves the right to void any or all Bets made by any person or group of persons acting in an attempt to defraud us.
18.2. A number of Bets may be treated as being one when a customer places multiple copies of the same Bet. When this occurs all Bets may be voided apart from the first Bet struck (subject to any applicable regulatory approvals). A number of Bets that contain the same single selection may be treated as being one. When this occurs all Bets may be voided apart from the first Bet struck. An example would be where one (1) particular selection is repeatedly included in multiple Bets involving other short-priced selections.
18.3. Where there is evidence of a series of Bets each containing the same (or very similar) selection(s) having been placed by or for the same individual or syndicate or individuals, Betway reserves the right to make Bets void and suspend relevant accounts (subject to any applicable regulatory approvals). This rule applies to both settled and unsettled Bets.
18.4. If you have played in a professional capacity, or in tandem with other customer(s) as part of a club, group, etc., or placed Bets or wagers in a coordinated manner with other customer(s) involving the same (or materially the same) selections; in this instance we further reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to restrict the total maximum pay out for the combined total of any such Bets, to the equivalent of the maximum daily payout limit permitted for a single customer (as outlined above). Betway is for sole use on an individual basis and for personal entertainment only.
18.5. Betway allows only one (1) Account per person. Any subsequent Accounts opened under the same postcode/personal details/IP address that are found to be related to any existing Account may be closed immediately and any Bets will be voided at Betway’s discretion (subject to any applicable regulatory approvals). Except if prohibited in Virginia, Betway reserves the right to reclaim any winnings attained by these means and we reserve the right to withhold all or part of your balance and/or recover from your Account deposits, pay outs, bonuses, any winnings that are attained by these means.

19. Funding Methods

Deposits to your Account can be made via the following methods:

  • ACH (electronic checking or direct deposit): electronic transfer of funds between your bank account and your player Account;

  • DEBIT/ CREDIT CARDS: Debit/credit cards with a Mastercard/Visa/Discover logo can be used to make deposits;

  • E-Wallet (SKRILL or PAYPAL): You can electronically transfer funds from a bank account or Debit/Credit Card to your Skrill or PayPal account and then deposit those funds to your Account;

  • PREPAID CARD: Using a Betway|Play+ account, you can transfer funds onto the Play+ Card and deposit to your Account.

20. Bonus Bets

20.1. From time to time, in connection with a promotion, offer or otherwise based on specific activity or behavior that is undertaken by you, you may be awarded a non-cashable, promotional bonus wager (“Bonus Bet”) for use solely in the Betway Sportsbook. In the event of a promotional offering, upon successfully completing the required activity as set out in the details of the Bonus Bet promotional offer, the Bonus Bet will appear in your Account for use as specified in the promotional offer.  In the event of any discrepancy or conflict between this Section and any terms associated with a specific promotion (“Promotion Terms”), the Promotion Terms will govern.  You may opt out of a Bonus Bet by contacting customer support.
20.2. Bonus Bets are not the equivalent of cash and may not be withdrawn or redeemed for cash or account credit. Bonus Bets are non-transferable. All Bonus Bets credited to your Account will be added to your Bonus Bet balance, viewable alongside your cash balance.  Bonus Bet wagers will be deducted from your Bonus Bet balance.
20.3. Bonus Bets may only be used to place wagers in the Betway Sportsbook. If you have an available Bonus Bet balance, you can elect to wager all or part of that balance by ticking the applicable checkbox on the bet slip. You may not wager both Bonus Bet(s) and cash in the same transaction. Bonus Bets may only be used on single or parlay wagers; Bonus Bets may not be used on round robins
20.4. Unless otherwise stated in the Promotion Terms, a Bonus Bet must be used within seven (7) days of being credited to your Account, at which time the Bonus Bet will expire. If all or a portion of a Bonus Bet is not used within its expiration date, the Bonus Bet (or unused portion thereof) will automatically expire and be removed from your Account. Upon the expiration of a Bonus Bet, your Bonus Bet balance will be adjusted to reflect the value of any unexpired Bonus Bet(s).
20.5. If you wager using a Bonus Bet and you win that wager, you will only be awarded winnings from that wager; the stake will not be returned to you.  Your expected winnings from wagering a Bonus Bet will be indicated on your bet slip. For example, if you wager using a $250 Bonus Bet at +150, and you win the wager, you will receive $375 in cash winnings, but the $250 Bonus Bet stake will not be returned to you and will be deducted from your Bonus bet balance.
20.6. If the wager you place with a Bonus Bet is canceled, void, a push, or a non-runner, your Bonus Bet will be automatically reissued.  Reissued Bonus Bets will expire seven (7) days from the time of reissuance.

Specific Sports Rules

Includes NFL, NCAA College Football, CFL, XFL, Indoor Football League and Arena Football

1. Overtime counts on all markets unless otherwise stated. Where offered, the “Win/Draw/Win” and “half time - full-time” Markets are settled on the result at the end of Regulation Time and do not include Overtime.

2. For Match-Half and Quarter Betting, the entire match half or quarter must complete in full for bets to stand.

3. If the conclusion of a 2 runner event is a tie, draw or exactly the number of quoted points and no price is offered for this conclusion, then the end result is a “push”. When this occurs, the resolution of solitary bets is to return stakes. For compound bets the selection is treated as a non-runner and the bet will be settled on the outstanding selections.

4. Abandoned or postponed matches are void unless rearranged and played in the same NFL weekly schedule (Thursday - Wednesday local stadium time) except for those bets that have already been determined at the time of abandonment or postponement.

5. “A touchdown scorer is defined as the player in possession of the ball in the opposing end zone (a touchdown scorer is not the player who throws the TD)”.

- Pre-Game Rules:

- In-Play Rules:

1. For Money Line, Point Spread, Total Points and Win/Draw/Win markets, the game or relevant quarter/half must be completed for bets to stand, unless settlement of bets is already determined.

- Player Related and Other Prop Markets:

1. For Player Match-Up Bets, all the quoted players must compete in at least one down for bets to stand. For Player Props, bets stand if player competes in one down.

2. The fixture must be concluded in full for all props and special markets to stand. If the match is not concluded in full then bets will be refunded unless additional play could not impinge on the result.

3. For 1st Offensive Play - This market is determined by the first offensive play from scrimmage (excluding Penalties). In the event of the kick-off being returned for a touchdown then bets will stand for the following kick-off. Incomplete or intercepted passes and QB Sack or Fumble will stand as a Pass Play. A fumble on exchange to the RB will stand as a Run Play.

4. For the following Markets your player must be suited up/active for bets to stand: First/Last and Anytime Touchdown Scorer. ([D/ST] refers to Defense/Special Teams).

5. For Touchdown/Field Goal Markets (Including “Longest Scored”, “Shortest Scored, “Team To Score Longest” and “Time Of First”), in the event of no score (via the specified method) bets will be void.

6. Team To Commit First Turnover - Turnover on Downs (failed 4th Down attempts) will count for settlement purposes.

7. Total Turnovers - Turnover on Downs (failed 4th Down attempts) will count for settlement purposes.

11. Will Either Team Score 5 Unanswered Times - Forecast whether either team will score 5 consecutive times during the game. A Score excludes any PAT's (point after touchdown or 2-point conversions).

12. Total Offensive Yards - Settlement is based on the Net Yards for both teams (includes sack yardage lost).

13. Team to Gain Most Passing Yards – Settlement is based on the most gross yards thrown.

14. Team to Gain Most Rushing Yards – Settlement is based on the most Total Rushing yards gained (includes negative yardage).

21. Result of Current/Next Drive - Excludes overtime if played. If Team A has the ball and fumble, and the ball is recovered by Team B, who then fumble it back to Team A; the outcome will be settled as Turnover, due to possession changing hands twice. Turnover on Downs (failed 4th Down attempt) will be settled as turnover. If a punt is fumbled by the receiving team and recovered by the kicking team bets will be settled as punt and a new drive market will be offered. Bets are void in the event of an incomplete drive.

22. Make 1st Down on Current Drive - The Yes option is determined by achieving a new set of downs, either by Run, Pass (this includes if a TD is scored as a result) or Automatic 1st Down Penalty. Safety, and Field Goal will be settled as No (irrespective of Field Goal being made or not). Replayed Downs due to non-Automatic Penalties, e.g., offside, encroachment, delay of game, Illegal substitution, excessive timeout(s), incidental grasp of facemask, neutral zone infraction, running into the kicker, or more than 11 players on the field at the snap, do not count, unless committed with 5 yards or less to go.

- Futures:

Conference Winner Markets are settled on the winner of the Conference Finals in the playoffs.

Bets on teams to win the division will be settled on official standings.

SAME GAME PARLAY RULES – NFL

1. SELECTION AND BET RESULTS

All NFL same game parlays must win (no ties, draws or pushes) for a bet to be deemed a winner. A selection that does not win, unless explicitly specified within this document, will be settled as a loser. For instance, selections on a team to win a match where it is a tie after overtime, even where the draw or tie may not have been offered through same game parlay, will be settled as losers. Similarly, ‘Race to X’ selections where neither team reaches the selected score will be settled as losers, regardless of whether a ‘neither team to reach X’ selection was available as an alternate selection or not. If a quarter, half or match finishes scoreless, then touchdown or point-scoring selections for that period (e.g. Player to Score a 1st Half Touchdown) will be settled as losers. If one more selections in any bet are resulted as void due to the player(s) in question not participating in a game (as per section 4), the entire bet will be resulted as void. Selections voided for other reasons (typically game abandonment or postponement) will be resulted according to the rules outlined in section 6 of this document.

2. OVERTIME

All NFL games will be settled on the official declared result including any overtime.

3. SECOND HALF / FOURTH QUARTER MARKETS

All second half and fourth quarter market selections do include overtime if it occurs. For example, a total second half points selection would include the points scored in both the second half and overtime.

4. PLAYER-SPECIFIC MARKETS

All player selections will be considered active if a player participates in at least one play at any point of the relevant match, regardless of whether the selection in question references a specific period of the match. If a player does not participate in a single play during a match, selections specific to that player will be void. For instance, a selection on a certain player to score a touchdown in the second half would be active (and therefore settled as a loser) if that player participated in the first play of the match, was injured, and did not return to the game, regardless of having never been on the field during the second half. However, if that player was injured shortly before the game commenced and did not participate in any plays whatsoever, the selection and therefore bet would be void.

5. POSTPONED AND INCOMPLETE GAMES

If a match is postponed or incomplete, all bets will stand if the game is subsequently resumed or played within the same scheduling week of the NFL schedule (Thursday – Wednesday local stadium time) as the originally scheduled start time. All bets placed on games which are postponed and commence outside their originally designated scheduling week will be void, and stakes will be refunded.

6. ABANDONED GAMES

If a game is abandoned prior to commencement, it falls within the same scheduling week rule for postponed games as described above. If it is halted during play, and then resumed and completed during the same scheduling week, all bets will stand also as per section 5. If a game is halted after commencing but prior to completion, and it is not resumed and completed within the same scheduling week, the following rules apply:

1. Same game parlays will be void if they include at least one selection involving a player who has not yet been on the field for at least one play. The rules outlined below are all applied subject to and subsequent to the application of this rule.

2. If every selection within a same game parlay on the game is already a winner where the fact of abandonment had no impact on the outcome of each selection, the same game parlay in its entirety will be treated as a winner. For example, a 2-leg same game parlay containing an over total points selection and a certain player to score a touchdown, in a game where the required points have been reached and the player did score a touchdown before the game was subsequently abandoned, will be treated as a winner. In this case, the abandonment had no impact on either selection. The same would not apply to an under total points selection where a game is abandoned while the total score is still under the chosen number, as the abandonment would impact that outcome.

3. If a single selection of a same game parlay has lost and a match is then abandoned, the same game parlay will be treated as a loser, where regardless of the fact of abandonment, the selection(s) in question had been irrevocably concluded. For example, a same game parlay including a first team to score selection, in a game where the other team scored first and the match was subsequently then abandoned, will be treated as a loser. In this case, the bet had already lost, and this outcome could not be affected in any way by whether the game was subsequently abandoned or not.

4. If there are no losing selections within a same game parlay and at least one void selection at the time of a match abandonment, the same game parlay will be treated as void. This rule applies where one or more selections are still undecided at abandonment, and may have won or lost if the game had been completed as scheduled. For example, a same game parlay including an over total points selection, in a game abandoned while the total points are still below the required amount, will be treated as void. In this case, the total points selection was still undecided and may have won or lost but for the abandonment, so the bet will be voided.

7. VENUE CHANGES

If the venue of a match is changed from the one advertised, all bets on that match will be voided.

General Rules

1. All match markets include overtime, if played, unless otherwise stated.

2. Regulation time must be completed for bets to stand unless otherwise stated.

3. If the duration of a match is changed by the governing body prior to the commencement of play, the revised game length will be regarded as the official regulation time for this match, and all bets will stand as long as this new regulation time is completed.

4. If a match venue is changed then bets already placed will stand providing the home team is still designated as such. If the home and away team for a listed match are reversed, then bets placed based on the original listing will be void.

Match Betting

If any match ends in a draw/tie, including overtime if played, then stakes will be refunded unless a price is offered for the draw/tie. Bets will be settled on the official AFL result only.

Quarter/Half Betting

For all quarter/half betting, in the event of a specific quarter/half not being completed bets will be void, unless the specific market outcome is already determined. If a game goes to overtime, then this will be included for settlement purposes (considered a continuation of the 4th quarter/2nd Half).

Double Result

Predict the outcome of the specified match at half-time and full-time including overtime if played.

Team To Score First

The market covers any score e.g., Goal/Behind for settlement purposes.

Team to Score First Goal

The market covers Goal only for settlement purposes.

First GoalScorer/Last GoalScorer/To Score A Goal/Player To Score 2, 3 Or More

Bets on players taking no part in the match will be void. If your player is an unused substitute or takes the field as a designated substitute after a goal has been scored, then bets on your player to score the first goal will be made void. If your player has taken the field as a designated substitute at any time prior to the first goal being scored, then your bet stands. If your player is one of the interchange players, then your bet stands. All players that take part in a match will be considered runners for Last Goalscorer, To Score a Goal and Player To Score 2, 3 Or More betting.

Best On Ground/Man Of The Match

Settlement will be based on the player judged to be the Medal Winner in the specified match. Bets on players taking no part in the match will be void. Dead-heat rules apply.

Scorecast (Winning Margin and Player to Score First Goal)

Settlement for all Scorecast markets is based on the first goal scored as opposed to the first score. If your player takes the field after a goal has been scored or does not take part in the game prior to a goal being scored, then bets will be made void. If a match is abandoned after a goal has been scored, then all bets will be settled as singles on the first goalscorer at the appropriate odds.

Season Betting

With the exception of Premiership winner, AFL seasonal markets offered will be regular season only, and based on the official AFL ladder. If in any market teams are tied, the winner will be deemed the team with the best percentage (or worst percentage for Wooden Spoon).

Most Losses (Regular Season)

1. Settled on the team recording the most losses during the regular season. In the event of two or more teams recording the same number of losses, the winner will be determined as the team with the worst for-and-against differential. Regular Season must be completed for bets to stand.

2. Any penalties or appeals heard after the end of the scheduled season which may subsequently alter the league placing will not count for betting purposes.

International Rules Series

Bets will be settled on official GAA/AFL result only.

1. All games must start on their scheduled local date. If a game has been postponed to another day or cancelled before its due start time all selections on that game are void. If there is a void selection within a multiple or system bet, that individual selection will be voided, and the bet will run on the remaining selections. For example, a treble containing one void selection becomes a double on the remaining two selections within the bet. The same approach will be applied to all multiple and system bets.

2. American and National League winner markets are settled on the winner of the two League Championship Series in the playoffs.

- Pre-Games Rules:

1. Listed pitchers must start - a wager that specifies both starting pitchers. Any variation constitutes no action. Wagers with ‘One specified pitcher’ and ‘Listed pitchers must start’ that were placed when the named pitcher was originally listed are no action if the listed pitcher is changed and is then re-listed back to the original pitcher.

2. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they are aware of any relevant pitching changes.

3. Extra innings if played will count in all markets except the Win/Draw/Win market and all Inning/Period specific markets.

- 4½ innings rule:

If a game is 'called', or suspended, winners and losers for betting are official after at least 5 full innings of play unless the home team is leading after 4½ innings. If a game is 'called', or suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning (unless the home team scores to tie or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called). Suspended games do not carry over.

- 6½ innings rule:

Total and Run Line betting (for 7 innings games) - The game must complete at least 7 full innings (or 6½ innings if the team batting second is ahead) for bets to stand. However, in the event of a Mercy Rule being called, all bets will stand on the score at the time.

- 8½ innings rule:

Total and run-line (Handicap) betting - The game must go at least 9 full innings (or 8½ innings if the home team is ahead) for bets to stand. Suspended games do not carry over.

Win/Draw/Win Market – Extra innings do not count towards settlement. For 7 innings games - the game must complete 7 full innings (or 6½ innings if the team batting second is ahead) for bets to stand. For 9 innings games - the game must complete 9 full innings (or 8½ innings if the home team is ahead) for bets to stand. However, in the event of a Mercy Rule being called, all bets will stand on the score at the time.

- Side and Prop Betting:

If a game is suspended, winners and losers for betting are certified after at least 5 innings of play, or four and a half innings (see 4 ½ Innings Rule) if the home team is winning. If a game is suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the previous full inning. (Unless the home team scores to tie or takes the lead in the bottom half on the inning, in which case the winner is determined by the score at the time that the game is suspended.) Stakes will be refunded if the home team ties the game, and it is then suspended.

- Totals Betting:

1. When betting on Total Runs, the Game must go to 9 innings (See 8 ½ Innings rule if the home team is ahead) for bets to stand, except where the Game Total has already gone over. If a Score has already gone over the quoted Total, then bets on the Over will be settled as winners, with bets on the Under settled as losers. This includes where the natural conclusion of the game would have meant the outcome of the total quoted would be determined (e.g., MLB regular season game is called, or suspended at 5-5) bets on Over 10 or 10.5 would be settled as winners, with bets on Under 10 or 10.5 being settled as losers, since any natural conclusion to the match would have at least 11 runs. Specifically, for MLB Spring Training matches settlement will be based on 9 innings only, in instances when the natural conclusion rule could apply.

2. Team Totals - subject to 8 ½ innings rule EXCEPT where the team total has already gone over (if team total has already gone over the quoted total, then bets on the over will be settled as winners, with bets on the under settled as losers).

- Run Line (Handicap) Betting:

When betting on Run Lines (Handicaps), the Game must go to 9 innings (8 ½ if the home team is ahead) for bets to stand.

- First x Innings bets:

Bets will be settled on the result after the first x innings have been completed. The full Inning or period must be played for bets to stand unless additional play could not influence the result.

- First to Score bets:

The first team to reach the required number of runs will be settled as the winner. Bets on Neither require the 8½ innings rule to apply to be settled as winners.

- Team Scoring First Wins Game:

8½ innings rule applies.

- Last to Score:

8½ innings rule applies.

- Player Related Markets:

1. On player related markets, the listed player(s) must start in the designated game for the wager to have action, otherwise bets are void.

2. Bets stand, provided that, 8½ innings are played. In the event of a pregame pitching change all bets will be void (no action).

3. Most Total Bases bets are calculated by adding all hits a player makes as per: Single = 1 Base, Double = 2, Triple = 3, Home Run = 4. Only these count.

- In-Play Rules:

1. All In-Play bets stand irrespective of starting pitchers.

2. Extra innings if played will count in all markets except the Win/Draw/Win market and all Inning/Period specific markets.

3. Money Line is subject to 4 ½ Innings rule

4. Totals / Run Line are subject to 8 ½ Innings rule.

6. Individual Innings / Period Specific: The full Inning or period must be played for bets to stand unless additional play could not influence the result.

MLB Playoff Games only:

For any suspended MLB playoff game that resumes within 72 hours of the suspension, all bets will stand and be settled after the completion of the game. If the game is not completed within 72 hours, following the time of suspension, then all bets will be void unless settlement of bets is already determined.

- Non-MLB Baseball (including Minor League Baseball):

8½ innings rule applies although in the event of a Mercy Rule being called, all bets will stand on the score at the time. For 7 innings games played as part of a doubleheader the 6½ inning rule will apply.

- Proposition Bets:

Regular Season Series Bets: Bets on MLB Regular Season Series are placed on the outcome of the first three games played in each Series. Pitchers cannot be listed; all wagers will have action irrespective of starting pitchers. Neither team can play another opponent between scheduled games. Only the first three games played count for betting purposes. Bets stand provided a minimum of two games have been played. If two of the first three games are postponed or cancelled – all bets are void. Called games will count towards grading provided it is officially declared a regulation game (4 ½ innings rule).

- Regular Season Wins:

All 162 regular season games must be played for wagers to have action unless the outcome is already determined.

- Grand Salami:

The Baseball Grand Salami will be decided by the total runs scored in all MLB games scheduled for that day (local date). No Listed Pitchers. All scheduled games - 8½ innings rule applies. If any game is cancelled or stopped before the completion of 8½ innings, all wagers on the Grand Salami will be cancelled.

- Settlement of Bets:

All bets settled on official score as per official league source.

- US Basketball (NBA/WNBA/NCAA/WNCAA/TBT)

3. Win/Draw/Win, Total Points Range and Double Chance markets are settled on the result at the end of regulation time and do not include overtime.

- NBA

If an official result is declared, then all bets stand.

- WNBA

Regular time is 40 minutes play. At least 35 minutes of play must elapse for WNBA game bets to stand. If the game is abandoned for any reason before 35 minutes play is completed, then all bets will be void except for those markets which have been unconditionally determined. If an official result is declared, then all bets stand.

- NCAA

Regular time is 40 minutes play. At least 35 minutes of play must elapse for NCAA game bets to stand. If the game is abandoned for any reason before 35 minutes play is completed, then all bets will be void except for those markets which have been unconditionally determined. If an official result is declared, then all bets stand.

- TBT

Regular time is scheduled for 36 minutes play. Each quarter is scheduled for 9 minutes, however in the 4th quarter as per tournament rules the “Elam Ending” is used. The Elam Ending involves the shutting down of the game clock at the first stoppage at or under 4 minutes of the 4th quarter. At this juncture, a target score shall be set, equal to the leading team’s score plus eight (8). This removes the possibility of overtime. At least 32 minutes of play must elapse for TBT games bets to stand. If a game is abandoned for any reason before 32 minutes play is completed, then all bets will be void except for those markets which have been unconditionally determined. If an official result is declared, then all bets stand.

Where statistics from an official score(s) provider or official website are not available or there is significant evidence that the official score(s) provider or official website is incorrect, we will use independent evidence to support bet settlement.

2. In the absence of consistent, independent evidence or in the presence of significant conflicting evidence, bets will be settled based on our own statistics.

SAME GAME PARLAY RULES – NBA/BASKETBALL

1. SELECTION AND BET RESULTS

All basketball same game parlay selections must win (no ties, draws or pushes) for a bet to be deemed a winner. A selection that does not win, unless explicitly specified within this document, will be settled as a loser. If one or more selections in any bet are resulted as void for any reason (such as a selected player not participating in the match – see section 4), the entire bet will be resulted as void. For instance, selections on a team to win a match where it is a draw after overtime (or normal time if no overtime is to be played), even where the draw or tie may not have been offered through same game parlay, will be settled as losers. This will not be relevant to NBA or NBL games as they play repeated overtime periods until a team wins, but may be applicable to other basketball leagues or competitions as per their individual competition rules. Similarly, ‘Race to X’ selections where neither team reaches the selected score will be settled as losers, regardless of whether a ‘neither team to reach X’ selection was available as an alternate selection or not.

2. OVERTIME
All basketball games will be settled on the official declared result including any overtime.

3. SECOND HALF / FOURTH QUARTER MARKETS

All second half and fourth quarter market selections do include overtime periods if they occur. For example, a total second half points selection would include the points scored in both the second half and any overtime periods played.

4. PLAYER-SPECIFIC MARKETS

All player selections will be considered active if a player enters the court as an active player at any point of the relevant match, regardless of whether the selection in question references a specific period of the match. If a player never enters the court during a match, selections specific to that player will be void. For instance, a selection on a certain player to score 10.5+ points in the second half would be active (and therefore settled as a loser) if that player played the first two minutes of a match, was injured, and did not return to the game, regardless of having never been on the court during the second half. However, if that player was injured shortly before the game commenced, was withdrawn from the starting lineup (or bench) and never took to the court, the selection and therefore bet would be void.

5. POSTPONED AND INCOMPLETE GAMES

Where a match is postponed or incomplete, and subsequently resumed or played within 24 hours (inclusive) of the original scheduled start time, all bets will stand. All bets placed on games played which commence more than 24 hours past the originally scheduled start time will be void. Once the 24 hours have expired, all bets are void and stakes will be refunded.

6. ABANDONED GAMES

If a game is abandoned prior to commencement, it falls within the 24-hour rule for postponed games as described above. If it is abandoned after commencing but before its natural end point, the following rules apply:
1. Same game parlays will be void if they include at least one selection involving a player who has not yet entered the court as an active player. The rules outlined below are all applied subject to and subsequent to the application of this rule.

2. If every selection within a same game parlay on the game is already a winner where the fact of abandonment had no impact on the outcome of each selection, the same game parlay in its entirety will be treated as a winner. For example, a 2-leg same game parlay containing an over total points selection and a certain player to score 10.5+ points, in a game where the required points have been reached and the player did score more than 10 points before the game was subsequently abandoned, will be treated as a winner.

For example, a same game parlay including a first player to score selection, in a game where a different player scored first and the match was subsequently then abandoned, will be treated as a loser. In this case, the bet had already lost, and this outcome could not be affected in any way by whether the game was subsequently abandoned or not.

4. If there are no losing selections within aa same game parlay and at least one void selection at the time of a match abandonment, the same game parlay will be treated as void.

If the venue of a match is changed from the one advertised, all bets on that match will be void.

- All Other Basketball

1. Overtime counts on all markets unless otherwise stated.  Markets relating to the 4th quarter do not include overtime. Markets relating to the 2nd half include overtime.

2. Win/Draw/Win and Double Chance markets are settled on the result at the end of regulation time and do not include overtime.

3. For player match up bets, all the quoted players must compete in the game for bets to stand.

4. If the conclusion of a 2-runner event is a tie, draw or the amount of quoted points and no price is offered for this conclusion, then the outcome is a “push”. When this happens, the settlement of solitary bets is to return stakes and for compound bets the selection is treated as a non-runner and the bet will be settled on the outstanding selections.

5. For match-half and quarter betting, the entire half or quarter must complete in full for bets to stand.

6. The fixture must be completed in full for all props, total points and special markets to stand. If the fixture is not completed in full then bets will be refunded except for those markets which have been unconditionally determined.

7. Overtime counts for any player props unless specified otherwise.

- Bet Settlement

1. Bets will be settled on the official result announced in the ring. Subsequent appeals/amendments do not affect settlement (unless the amendment was made due to human error when announcing the result).

2. Failure to come out for a round - If a boxer fails to come out for the next round, bets will be settled on his opponent having won the bout in the previous round.

3. Change to scheduled number of rounds - All outright bets on the match, and bets on cancelled/postponed fights will be made void.

- Abandoned Fights

All bets will be void on fights that are abandoned before completion unless otherwise stated or the bet has already been settled. All bets will be void in the event of a boxer being substituted.

- Postponed/Rearranged Fights

In the event of a fight being postponed, rearranged or moved to a different venue, all bets will stand for 14 days, inclusive of the original starting date.

- Bout Prices

1. Winning bets must predict which boxer wins the fight.

2. Fights officially start for betting purposes after the bell is sounded for the first round. For the purposes of this bet a price is offered for the 'Draw'. If this occurs all bets on either boxer will be settled as losers.

- Round Prices/Group Round Prices

1. Winning bets must predict the round or group of rounds in which the fight ends.

2. If the number of rounds in a bout is reduced by more than two all bets will be void. If the number of rounds in a bout is reduced by two or less only bets on the rounds not fought will be void unless otherwise requested pre-fight. In the event of a clash of heads or a low blow resulting in the judges' scorecards being used to determine the winner before the scheduled number of rounds are completed, the boxer declared the winner will be deemed to have won by a stoppage at the time the bout was halted. All bets for 'Win on Points' require the full number of rounds to be completed to be successful. If either boxer fails to enter the ring after a bell, the fight will be deemed to have finished in the previous round.

3. If a fight is stopped before the full number of rounds has been completed, or if a boxer is disqualified and a points decision is awarded, bets will be settled on the round in which the fight was stopped.

- How Will The Fight Be Won Prices/Method Of Victory

1. Winning bets must predict the method by which the fight will be won.

2. KO, TKO or DQ - Knockout (KO) is when the boxer does not stand up after a 10 count. Technical knockout (TKO) is the 3 knockdown rule or if the referee steps in to stop the fight. Disqualification (DQ) is when a boxer is deemed to have fouled and therefore loses the contest.

3. Decision or technical decision - Decision is on scorecard points between the judges. Technical decision is when the fight can't continue for any reason other than a KO/TKO or Disqualification. Irrespective of whether the full scheduled number of rounds is complete, in the event of a technical decision, bets will be settled as a fighter by decision or a draw as no KO/TKO/DQ has taken place.

- Match Betting (3-way)

Settled on official referee ruling. A draw price will be offered.

- Match Betting (2-way)

Settled on official referee ruling. All bets void in case of a draw.

- Total Rounds

1. For settlement purposes, where a half round is stated then the half-way point of the round is where under/over is determined. For example, in a three-minute round, this point would be 1 minute 30 seconds. Should the round end exactly on the halfway point of a round e.g., 1 minute 30 seconds in a 3-minute round bets will be made void.

- Examples (3-minute rounds): (A) for a bet on:

“Over 0.5 Rounds” to be a winner, the fight must last beyond 1 minute and 30 seconds in Round 1

“Over 1.5 Rounds” to be a winner, the fight must last beyond 1 minute and 30 seconds in Round 2

“Over 2.5 Rounds” to be a winner, the fight must last beyond 1 minute and 30 seconds in Round 3

“Over 6.5 Rounds” to be a winner, the fight must last beyond 1 minute and 30 seconds in Round 7

“Over 7.5 Rounds” to be a winner, the fight must last beyond 1 minute and 30 seconds in Round 8

“Over 8.5 Rounds” to be a winner, the fight must last beyond 1 minute and 30 seconds in Round 9

“Over 9.5 Rounds” to be a winner, the fight must last beyond 1 minute and 30 seconds in Round 10

“Over 10.5 Rounds” to be a winner, the fight must last beyond 1 minute and 30 seconds in Round 11

“Over 11.5 Rounds” to be a winner, the fight must last beyond 1 minute and 30 seconds in Round 12.

2. Fight To Go The Distance - In the event of any outcome in which the fight does not last the full scheduled duration then all bets will be settled as 'Fight Not to Go The Distance'.

3. If the number of rounds for a fight is changed after this market has been set then all bets will stand unless the new number of rounds result in the quote being higher than the total number of rounds to be fought.

- Total Minutes

Winning bets must predict the time band (e.g. 6-10 minutes) that lists the total duration of the fight.

- Fight Special Bets

Knockouts

For any special bets involving knockdowns a fighter must be physically knocked down by his opponent and the knockdown receive an official count by the referee, or the fighter is knocked down and the referee deems the fighter unable to continue and stops the fight without the need for a count.

- Odd/Even Round Betting

1. In the case of a non-runner we reserve the right to implement a Rule-4 adjustment to bets struck on "Outright" betting such as "Super Six", "Prizefighter" etc.

2. Reserves may be added.

3. Any customer that bets on a non-runner will have their stakes returned if the fighter withdraws before he has had a bout.

Match Betting

Description: Who will win the match?

Rules: All match betting will be settled in accordance with official competition rules. In matches affected by adverse weather, bets will be settled according to the official result. Further to the above, if any games are abandoned after kick-off then markets that have already been determined will be settled as usual. All remaining outstanding bets will be made void.

- Asian Handicaps:

1. An Asian handicap is a market where a handicap is applied to the match in order to make the odds more equal. The handicap price varies from Scratch, (0, also called Level Ball) up to any number of goals in order to balance the odds and give each of the two team’s comparatively comparable price. The handicap line increases from Scratch in ‘Quarter Goals’ or ‘Quarter Balls’, expressed as + or – 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1 1/4, 1 1/2 etc. to reflect the expected dominance of one team over the other.

2. The favourite in a match will have a minus handicap represented with a (-) symbol and will have to win by more goals than the handicap in order to be a winner. The underdog in the match will have a positive handicap represented with a (+) symbol which will be added to the final score.

3. Whole ball and half ball handicaps: The handicap is applied to the final outcome of the match and the team with the most goals after the handicap has been applied will be the winner. If the number of goals for each team are level after the handicap has been applied, it will result in a push with the stake being returned.

4. Split Ball Handicaps - A split ball handicap is where the level of favouritism is between a half ball and a whole ball. The handicap is presented as 0 : 1/4. In this instance, your stake is being split equally between the whole ball and half ball handicaps.

- Outright Winner, Top 5/10/20/30/40, End of Round Leader, Groups/Nationalities, Double/Triple Chance, Top Pointscorer and Other Outrights

Dead Heat Rules apply - please note that ties play a large part in the settlement of golf markets.

Dead heats are a common occurrence as several players can finish tied for places. Depending on the number of players tied and the number of places offered, this can affect settlement in a variety of ways.

An example of this could be as follows:

Finishing Position

Player

Price

1st

6/1

2nd

8/1

3rd

14/1

3rd

16/1

3rd

28/1

If a bet was struck on Player E to win the tournament Each Way (at a 1/4 the odds, 3 places) settlement would be determined as follows:

As 3 players were tied for the remaining place left in the market (3rd Place) - 1st and 2nd finished clear of the field - the stake is divided by the following:

number of places remaining divided by the number of participants involved in the dead heat

In the above example, Player E backers would have their stake reduced to 1/3rd of their original stake (1 place remaining and 3 involved in the dead heat). The price taken remains unaffected, it is only the stake that is subject to a reduction.

The principles would then be the same if the bet had been struck and 4 places were offered, i.e. 2 places remaining, 3 participants in the dead heat = reduced to 2/3rds of original stake.

Dead Heat settlement also applies in Top 5/10/20/30/40 etc. markets –

Example A) in Top 20 betting, if a player ties for 20th with 5 other players, i.e. 6 players all tied 20th, a 1/6th reduction to winnings would apply;

Example B) if 2 players tied for 10th in Top 10 betting then a ½ reduction would occur.

Play Offs count for settlement purposes.

- To Make/Miss Cut

If your selected player does not take part in the tournament, bets will be made void. If the player has teed off, bets will stand.

- To Finish Last

Any player who withdraws or gets disqualified in the event, then bets on those players will be deemed as losing bets.

Dead-heat rules may apply.

- Double/Triple Chance:

In the event of one or more or the selections being a non-runner, bets will revert to the remaining selection(s), determined by the price at the time of bet placement.

- Tournament Match Betting

Bets will stand irrespective of the number of holes played, provided there is an official result.

If both players miss the cut, then the player with the lowest score after the cut has been made, will be declared the winner.

If both/all players fail to complete a specific round for any reason the winner is the player with the lowest total score after the previous round. - If a player withdraws without playing a shot all bets will be void.

If a player is disqualified or withdraws during any round they will be settled as a loser providing the other player completes that round. If a player is disqualified or withdraws after the cut has been made and his opponent has already missed the cut, the disqualified player is deemed the winner.

Both/All Players must complete 1 hole for bets to stand, otherwise bets will be void.

In the event of a tie and the tie has not been offered the match bets will be void.

Play Offs count for settlement purposes

- Tournament Group Betting

- Tournament Handicap Betting:

If a player misses the cut, is disqualified, or withdraws during the tournament, then bets on that player will be settled as losers. Only the original scheduled number of holes count. Dead heat rules will apply for 3 ball betting.

In modified Stableford events the bets will be settled on the points scored and not the strokes taken.

If pairings or groups change, then bets stand on the respective player scores.

Both players must tee off for bets to stand, otherwise bets will be made void on that selection.

In the event of a tie for second place, Dead heat rules will apply i.e. a 4-way tie for second place will mean the bet will be settled at a 1/4 of the original stake.

SAME GAME PARLAY RULES – NHL/HOCKEY

1. SELECTION AND BET RESULTS

All ice hockey same game parlay selections must win (no ties, draws or pushes) for a bet to be deemed a winner. This will not be relevant to NHL games as they advance to shootouts after a tied overtime period (regular season) or play open-ended sudden death overtime (playoffs), but may be applicable to other ice hockey leagues or competitions as per their individual competition rules. Similarly, ‘Race to X’ selections where neither team reaches the selected score will be settled as losers, regardless of whether a ‘neither team to reach X’ selection was available as an alternate selection or not. If a period finishes scoreless, then goalscoring selections such as First or Last Goalscorer for that period will be settled as losers.

2. OVERTIME / SHOOTOUTS

All ice hockey games will be settled on the official declared result including any overtime and shootouts. Goals scored in shootouts are disregarded for settlement purposes. The goal assigned to the score of a winning team after a shootout (e.g. the only goal in a game that finishes 0-0 after overtime and therefore 1-0 after the shootout) counts for the purposes of total game score and total team goal selections, but is not assigned to a player and does not count towards the settlement of any player scoring markets.

3. THIRD PERIOD MARKETS

All third period market selections do include overtime and the resultant goal from shootouts if they occur. For example, a total third period goals selection would include the goals scored in both the third period and the winning goal from either overtime or resulting from the shootout.

4. PLAYER-SPECIFIC MARKETS

All player selections will be considered active if a player takes to the rink as an active player at any point of the relevant match, regardless of whether the selection in question references a specific period of the match. If a player never enters the rink during a match, selections specific to that player will be void. For instance, a selection on a certain player to score in the third period would be active (and therefore settled as a loser) if that player played the first two minutes of a match, was injured, and did not return to the game, regardless of having never been on the ice during the third period. However, if that player was injured shortly before the game commenced, was withdrawn from the starting lineup (or bench) and never took the ice, the selection and therefore bet would be void.

1. Same game parlays will be void if they include at least one selection involving a player who has not yet entered the rink as an active player. The rules outlined below are all applied subject to and subsequent to the application of this rule.

2. If every selection within a same game parlay on the game is already a winner where the fact of abandonment had no impact on the outcome of each selection, the same game parlay in its entirety will be treated as a winner. For example, a 2-leg same game parlay containing an over total goals selection and a certain player to score, in a game where the required goals have been reached and the player did score before the game was subsequently abandoned, will be treated as a winner. In this case, the abandonment had no impact on either selection. The same would not apply to an under total goals selection where a game is abandoned while the total score is still under the chosen number, as the abandonment would impact that outcome.

For example, a same game parlay including an over total goals selection, in a game abandoned while the total goals are still below the required amount, will be treated as void. In this case, the total goals selection was still undecided and may have won or lost but for the abandonment, so the bet will be voided.

7. VENUE CHANGES

If the venue of a match is changed from the one advertised, all bets on that match will be voided.

  1. All games must start on their scheduled local date. If a game venue is changed, bets already placed will stand providing the home team is still designated as such. If a game has been postponed to another day or cancelled before its due start time all bets are void.

  1. Overtime counts on all markets unless otherwise stated.

NCAA/National Lacrosse League

Regular time is 60 minutes play. Games must go the full 60 minutes for bets to stand. If the game is abandoned for any reason before 60 minutes play is completed, then all bets will be void except for those markets which have been unconditionally determined. If an official result is declared then all bets stand.

Premier Lacrosse League

Regular time is 48 minutes play. Games must go the full 48 minutes for bets to stand. If the game is abandoned for any reason before 48 minutes play is completed, then all bets will be void except for those markets which have been unconditionally determined. If an official result is declared then all bets stand.

3. Match Bets: Bets are settled on the driver who finishes in the best position. Both drivers need not complete the race. If neither driver finishes, the one who has finished most laps will be the winner. Should both drivers withdraw having finished the same number of laps then all bets will be cancelled.

5. To Qualify In Pole Position: All in compete or not. Bets settled on the driver who is announced as qualifying on pole directly following the end of the qualifying round. Any subsequent demotion or disqualification would not affect the result.

2. If a competitor or team does not start a race or tournament then bets placed on that competitor or team are considered to be losing bets. Stakes will not be refunded on selections in this case.

Final medal placings

The final medal table declared by the governing body at the end of the event will be used to settle bets on how many medals a competitor or country may win. Any subsequent changes to the medal table will not be taken into consideration.

Head to Head betting

1. Where both competitors reach the final, settlement will be based on their finishing positions in the final.

2. If both competitors are eliminated in the same round of a competition before the final, bets will be made void.

3. Where competitors are eliminated in different rounds of a competition, the competitor progressing furthest will be the winner for settlement purposes. For example, where one competitor is eliminated in a heat, and the other competitor is eliminated in the semi-final, the competitor reaching the semi-final will be deemed the winner.

Postponed Events

If any event/match is postponed, bets will stand providing the event is rescheduled to take place before the closing ceremony. This rule supersedes any of the individual sports’ postponement rules.

Results

1. All races/events will be settled according to the medal ceremony. Any subsequent disqualifications will not count for settlement purposes. Should the result of an event be amended following an enquiry, competitors awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze at the original medal ceremony will be deemed 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively for settlement purposes.

2. In the event of more than one medal being awarded for the same position, for example there is potential for 2 bronze medals in boxing, dead heat rules apply.

1. Where odds for an outright tournament win, as well as 80 minutes play are displayed in Cup Finals etc. unless to lift cup or competition’ or a qualifying price has been laid, or requested, all bets are settled on 80 minutes play.

2. 80 minutes play will include any additional injury or stoppage time, but not extra time. In the event of a match being abandoned before the final whistle, only bets that can be settled at the time of abandonment will stand. All other bets will be cancelled.

3. Winning margin betting is from scratch.

4. Bets will be accepted up to the actual kick off time. If a bet is inadvertently accepted which includes a match after its kick off time, the match will be treated as a non-runner. In ‘first try scorer bets, penalty tries do not count. Every effort is made to quote all players for a team, however, if the first/last try is scored by a player not quoted in the original list, that player will still count as the winner.

- Divisional and Title Betting:

The finishing position of teams at the end of the scheduled season will decide places, this includes point’s deductions the league may apply before the end of the season. End of season play-offs and penalties incurred by clubs after the end of the season will not count.

SAME GAME PARLAY RULES - MMA

1. SELECTION AND BET RESULTS

All MMA same game parlay selections must win (no ties, draws or pushes) for a bet to be deemed a winner. A selection that does not win, unless explicitly specified within this document, will be settled as a loser. Where a bet includes a selection resulted as void for any reason (such as a fight being ruled no contest after it has commenced), the bet will be settled in accordance with section 4 of this document.
For instance, selections on a fighter to get the most knockdowns, in a fight which ends with zero knockdowns, and even where a tie or draw option may not have been offered through same game parlay, will be settled as losers.

2. FIGHT WINNERS

The winners of MMA fights will be resulted based upon the official result announced in the ring. Appeals or changes made to the winner after that point will not result in the fight being resettled (unless the change in question came from human error in the announcing of the result in the ring).

3. POSTPONED AND ALTERED FIGHTS

Where a fight does not take place as scheduled, and subsequently commences on the same calendar date (local time) as originally scheduled, all bets will stand. All bets placed on fights which are postponed or delayed beyond the calendar date of the originally scheduled time will be void, and stakes will be refunded. The exception to this rule is where fights have been made available for betting using expected or nominal times/dates, in which case they will be updated to the official schedule once it has been confirmed.
A substitution for one or both of the fighters in a match will cause all bets to be void and stakes to be refunded.
A pre-fight change to the scheduled number of rounds in a fight will cause all bets to be void, and stakes to be refunded. For the avoidance of confusion, the fight may be subsequently reopened to betting through same game parlay with the amended number of rounds; if it is, bets placed from the point of that reopening will stand.

4. NO CONTEST/ABANDONED FIGHTS

If a fight is rescheduled or cancelled prior to commencement, it falls within the 48-hour rule for postponed fights as described above. If it is abandoned or ruled no contest (NC) while the fight is ongoing, the following rules apply:

1. If every selection within a bet on the fight is already a winner where the fact of no contest/abandonment had no impact on the outcome of each selection, the bet in its entirety will be treated as a winner. For example, a 2-leg bet containing an over total knockdowns selection and one fighter to record a takedown, in a fight where the required knockdowns were reached and the relevant fighter did record a takedown before the fight was ruled a no contest or abandoned, will be treated as a winner. In this case, the abandonment had no impact on either selection. The same would not apply to an under total significant strikes selection where a fight is ruled NC while the significant strikes total is still under the chosen number, as the abandonment would impact that outcome.

2. If a single selection of a bet has lost and a fight is then abandoned or ruled NC, the bet will be treated as a loser, where regardless of the fact of abandonment, the selection(s) in question had been irrevocably concluded. For example, a bet including a fighter to record under 1.5 takedowns, in a fight where he/she recorded 2 takedowns before the fight was subsequently ruled NC, will be treated as a loser. In this case, the bet had already lost, and this outcome could not be affected in any way by whether the fightwas subsequently abandoned or not.

3. If there are no losing selections within a bet and at least one void selection at the time of a fight being ruled NC, the bet will be treated as void. This rule applies where one or more selections are still undecided at the point of the ruling/abandonment, and may have won or lost if the fight had been fully completed. For example, a bet including an over total significant strikes selection, in a fight ruled NC while the total significant strikes are still below the required amount, will be treated as void. In this case, the selection was still undecided and may have won or lost but for the NC, so the bet will be voided. Similarly, a selection on the fight to last over 1.5 rounds, or on the method of victory for the fight, will be resulted as void where the fight is abandoned/ruled NC before 1.5 rounds have elapsed.

5. TECHNICAL DECISIONS

Where a fight ends in a technical decision, fight winner will be settled as win/lose/draw, and Method of Victory will be settled as Decision. All other markets will be settled as per the abandonment/no contest rules above. Where selections have irrevocably concluded, they will be settled as a win or loss, but otherwise where they are undecided at the point of the fight stopping, and may have won or lost if the fight had been fully completed, they will be settled as void.

6. SETTLEMENT SOURCES

Settlements will be based upon the statistics and results provided by the official website of the event/league/competition/governing body (www.ufc.com for UFC).

7. SPECIFIC MARKET RULINGS

1. What will the method of victory be? – The methods of victory for this market include:

a. Knockout (KO):

i. A fighter retiring due to injuries

ii. The fight being stopped by a doctor, or a fighter’s team/corner

iii. The fight being stopped by a referee, where one or both fighters are standing or on the canvas, where the stoppage is not officially considered a submission

iv. Disqualification of one fighter by the referee

b. Submission:

i. A fighter verbally submitting to the referee (whether the submission was made due to strikes or not)

ii. A referee stoppage resulting from a tap-out

iii. A referee stoppage resulting from a technical submission

c. Decision:

i. Unanimous, majority and split decisions

ii. Technical decisions

2. When will the fight end? – Decision victories do not count as wins for selections on a fight to end in round 3 of a 3-round fight, or round 5 of a 5-round fight. If a fighter withdraws or a doctor stops a fight in the period between rounds, the fight will be considered to have ended in the previous round for this market.

3. How long will the fight last? – These markets include selections on fight length by seconds, minutes or rounds.

a. Minutes: This market is offered in increments of 1 minute, starting from 0.5 (i.e. over/under 0.5, 1.5, 2.5 minutes, etc). Where a fight ends with the official clock showing exactly 30 seconds past a minute (e.g. 0:30, 1:30, 2:30), it will be deemed a completed half-minute for the purposes of this market, and the fight considered to have progressed to the next half-minute. For example, where a fight ends at exactly 3:30 in the first round, a selection on the fight lasting over 3.5 minutes will be settled as a winner, and a selection on under 3.5 minutes will be a loser.

b. Rounds: This market is offered in increments of 1 round, starting from 0.5 (i.e. over/under 0.5, 1.5, 2.5 rounds, etc). Where a fight ends with the clock at the exact halfway point of a round (e.g. 2:30 for 5-minute rounds), it will be deemed a completed half-round for the purposes of this market, and the fight considered to have progressed to the next half-round. For example, where a fight with 5-minute rounds ends at exactly 2:30 on the clock in the second round, a selection on the fight lasting over 1.5 rounds will be settled as a winner, and a selection on under 1.5 rounds will be a loser.

1. Teams paired together in a match are each priced to win.

2. In the event of any of the named teams in a match changing before the match starts then all bets are void.

3. In the event of a match starting but not being completed, all bets will be void.

4. For competitions where two legged ties have a Golden Set to decide which team progresses (in the event of the tie being all square in matches won), then for settlement purposes the Golden Set does not count.

5. To Qualify will be settled on the team progressing to the next round of the specified competition, and includes the outcome of a Golden Set if played.
